Do I have paid days off?

Days	How many do I have?	When can I use them?
Sick days/ Sick leave	Up to 5 months per academic year	Whenever you're sick Note: If you miss too many days in a single rotation, you may be asked to make up the missing time.
Flex days	2 per academic year	Whenever you'd like, subject to approval by the Program Director. Unused flex days are not carried over to the next year and they are not paid out. Make sure you use them!
Lieu days	You earn 1 lieu day per 1 stat day worked	Ideally, programs and sites would prefer you to use your lieu days in the same rotation that you earned them. However, they don't technically expire for 12 months.
Conference days	10 days * These could already be incorporated into your curriculum so you may actually have less than that for you to use	These are subject to approval by your site. They may limit the number of days you can use by 1 year and you may be denied because it falls on a particularly short rotation.
